Grace is the defining feature of the Christian faith, yet finding a succinct definition of it is difficult, even in the best theological works. To try and express it, some have used the acronym GRACE-God’s Riches At Christs Expense, or God’s unmerited favor. Though these are true, they fall short.

In The Truth About Grace, John MacArthur shows that the ongoing work of grace in the Christian’s life is as much a certainty as justification, glorification, or any other aspect of God’s redeeming work. In other words, grace that does not affect one’s behavior is not the grace of God.
